The BBA in Computer Information Systems (CIS) is offered by the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics. The CIS program provides a strong foundation in both the technical and managerial issues related to information technology (IT). The program covers a broad range of technology-related areas, including data analytics, cybersecurity, software development, and IT strategy. The combination of technical courses, such as programming, data warehousing, and web application design, with managerial courses, such as IT audit, e-business, and green IT, prepares students for a wide range of careers in a variety of industries. Students can choose from three tracks:

MARIOS KOUFARIS is a Professor of Information Systems and Chair of the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics at the Zicklin School of Business of Baruch College, CUNY in New York City. He received a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the Stern School of Business of New York University, as well as a B.Sc. in Decision Sciences from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A. in Psychology from the College of Arts and Sciences, both at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses mainly on the determinants of user beliefs, attitudes, and behavior in different contexts.
