I am curious about our human ability to cope with visionary technologies, and our fears. I have researched in the use of software agents, cloud computing concepts, ambient intelligence frameworks, even in emotional environments like hospitals and other medical applications. "Never change a running system" is a psychological stance towards clinging to an existing state, despite all abilities and chances that come with future technologies. Can we let loose? Can we embrace change? Our do we fear the hounds of "security" and "safety" so much that we do not want to move?
