The information systems major at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business prepares students for careers in Information Technology. A student must choose one of two tracks: Enterprise Resource Planning Systems or Web and Mobile Development. Students may complete both tracks. Students may also choose an emphasis in Computer Science or Networking Technologies.
- Information Systems
- The information systems major includes courses in database design and development, agile development, project management, business analysis, ERP configuration and management, web development and mobile development. The major also requires a capstone course on the management of the IS function in the organization. This course includes weekly presentation on management topics by IT professionals from the surrounding area.
