The information systems major at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business prepares students for careers in Information Technology.  A student must choose one of two tracks: Enterprise Resource Planning Systems or Web and Mobile Development.  Students may complete both tracks.  Students may also choose an emphasis in Computer Science or Networking Technologies.


Information Systems
The information systems major includes courses in database design and development, agile development, project management, business analysis, ERP configuration and management, web development and mobile development. The major also requires a capstone course on the management of the IS function in the organization. This course includes weekly presentation on management topics by IT professionals from the surrounding area.
