Students work on a research project in the area of Finance & Information Management. The project may include an empirical study, an implementation, and/or a mathematical model.
After successful completion of the module, students are able to quickly familiarize themselves with a topic in the field of Finance & Information Management and to define a scientifically relevant research problem. They are able to identify, evaluate, and discuss current literature on this topic. They can select, develop and apply suitable methods to solve the problem and are able to analyze and evaluate their results. They can document the relevance of the problem, the current literature, the scientific question, the used methodologies and their results in a concise and well-structured thesis.
