Prerequisite: 3 hours college-level statistics. An applied MMIS research course. In-depth analysis of current research trends in MMIS, research methodologies, data acquisition and analysis, and research findings reporting. Students will be required to conduct an MMIS research project. 

Learning outcomes

Students should be able to: 1. Demonstrate as thorough knowledge of the phases of the research process, from conceptualization of a research question to analysis and reporting of results a) Demonstrate an ability to identify the ethical issues, and their appropriate solutions, in each phase of the research process b) Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of formulating an example of a research question and construction of testable hypotheses from a research question c) Demonstrate knowledge of sampling techniques 2. Produce a business research report that includes a literature search/theoretical background, a research question, hypothesis, data analysis, and conclusions/implications
