This course promotes a training plan linked to four main areas: software process models, quality improvement models, software project planning and requirements analysis. All activities of teaching / learning are organized around a project in which students go through 3 moments of assessment related to the four aspects mentioned above.
• Identify knowledge areas proposed by the SWEBOK 2004. • Understand software process models. • Identify different strategies for assessing and improving the process of software development. • Develop a plan for a software development project, following the guidelines of the PMBOK 2008. • Apply the techniques proposed by the UML to perform the Business Modeling discipline within the RUP.
